ZREČE

Zreče is a town and a municipality in northeast Slovenia. It lies on the slopes of Pohorje in the upper valley of the Dravinja River. It is located 100 kilometres northeast of Ljubljana, the capital city of Slovenia. The central part of the municipality is highly segmented with much of the northern part with hills with an altitude of over 1,000 metres above sea level and a continental climate.

In recent decades tourism has become one of the most important sectors in the municipality of Zreče, with the development of the Rogla mountain health and ski resort (1,500 metres above sea level) and the Terme Zreče spa. Tourism services are also offered by numerous other providers.

Direction Maribor, exit the highway at Slovenske Konjice and continue to Zreče

From the direction of Graz

Direction Maribor, exit the highway at Slovenske Konjice and continue to Zreče

From the direction of Zagreb

Direction Rogaška Slatina, Loče near Poljčane, Slovenske Konjice and Zreče

Travel using public transport:

Use train to come from Poljčane (from Maribor) or to Celje (from Ljubljana), and continue your journey by bus to visit Zreče.
